His professional career incorporates significant experience in executive leadership, investment management, and investment banking roles.

Garen previously served as CEO of the Development Foundation of Armenia, CFO of a major commercial bank in Armenia, President and CEO of a leading manufacturer of aircraft engine components in Toronto, and as an investment banker with BMO Capital Markets. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Garen was repatriated to Armenia in 2015.
