DESCRIPTION:On August 25\, the “Building the Future of Education” hackathon will be held in Vanadzor\, at the Lori Regional Library\, within the framework of the “Youth Development” program implemented by “Coca-Cola HBC Armenia”.\nAbout 50 students will participate in the hackathon\, who will work in 10 teams\, jointly developing ideas for the future of education. \nThe main task of the teams will be to propose a solution to one of the current or future challenges in the education sector. Participants must: \n\n define a problem\,\n develop a solution or product idea\,\n determine the target users and value proposition\,\n prepare a short slide deck about the idea.\n\nMentors will support them throughout the entire process\, guiding them through the stages of idea formation and development. \nIn the second half of the day\, the teams will present their projects. Each team will have 5 minutes to present the problem\, the proposed solution and its potential impact on the future of education. He served as Joint Director of EMBL-EBI from 2015 to 2024 and has played an important role in the institute’s development since its early years. \nThroughout his career\, he has made major contributions to protein bioinformatics\, including the development of methods for the automatic annotation of proteins and the advancement of internationally important resources such as UniProt and InterPro.
