DESCRIPTION:Register to participate to the 9th Armenian Internet Governance Forum – ArmIGF 2024\n https://armigf.am/armigf2024/\nThe Forum will take place on November 5.\nThe format: Hybrid (Online and offline) \nThe forum is open for all stakeholder groups who are interested in Internet governance issues.\nParticipation is free\, registration is mandatory.\nYou can register until October 25. \nArmIGF is an open\, inclusive\, transparent platform for dialogue and cooperation.\nIt is an annual meeting\nWith the participation of representatives of the state\, public and private sectors.\nIssues related to Internet governance are discussed; information and best practice is presented.\nContributes to the development of the Internet’s opportunities\, to confronting emerging risks and challenges\, as well as to the universal understanding and solution of problems.\nArmIGF initiates the The Internet Governance Council of the Republic of Armenia (IGC) which was formed by the decision of the RA government in 2014\, in order to develop and present recommendations for solving issues related to Internet governance. \nThe Council members are representatives of different stakeholder groups such as the Government\, Private Sector\, Academia and Non-governmental organizations. \nThe Secretariat of the Council is the “Internet society” NGO. \nThe forum is organized by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry\, Internet Society NGO and Internet Society Armenia Chapter NGO. \nYou can find more tech events happening in Armenia here
