DESCRIPTION:EPIC announces the Global Entrepreneurship Week Armenia 2023 – GEW Armenia 2023\nEntrepreneurship and Product Innovation Center (EPIC)\, as an official representative of Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN)\, brought together representatives of the ecosystem to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) Armenia 2023. \nGlobal Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is a series of events held in November of each year\, in 200 countries simultaneously. About 10 million people participate in a myriad of entrepreneurial events that help them take the first step in the field or improve their knowledge. \nAround 20 organizations from the Armenian ecosystem responded to EPIC’s call for cooperation to celebrate GEW in Armenia. The goal of this nationwide campaign is to promote entrepreneurial activity in Armenia\, to inspire current and future Armenian entrepreneurs\, to provide them with the knowledge\, experience and network necessary for success. \nGEW Armenia 2023 will be held from November 13 to 19. The comprehensive program will include around 27 events: \n\ntalks\,\npanel discussions\,\nconferences\,\ncompetitions and expos\,\n\nThe events will be held throughout Armenia – in Yerevan\, Gyumri\, Goris and a number of other communities.\nEach day of the Entrepreneurship Week has its own special topic\, which in one way or another is closely related to the field of entrepreneurship. \nDuring the events\, topics such as \n\nthe role of entrepreneurship in society and the history of social entrepreneurship in Armenia\,\nthe importance of entrepreneurship education and national entrepreneurship policy\,\nthe intersection of innovation and entrepreneurship\, and others will be discussed.\n\nYou can get acquainted with the agenda of the program here. \n \n  \nFind Global Entrepreneurship Week events here  \n

DESCRIPTION:Startup Huddle Yerevan: Ecosystem Meetup speakers are Karlen Madoyan\, the CEO and co-founder of doodooc and Nairi Baghdasaryan\, the co-founder and CEO of BLiiNK. \nStartup Huddle builds local startup communities while crowd-sourcing advice and support\, one entrepreneur at a time. Run by the Global Entrepreneurship Network\, it consists of monthly gatherings of local community and business leaders\, founders\, ecosystem builders\, investors and others interested in helping startups flourish. \nIn addition to providing direct support to entrepreneurs\, the program addresses a critical element of success for all ecosystems – connectivity. GEN-backed research shows that startup communities with greater levels of local connectedness translate to an increased number of startups – and that founders with high levels of connectivity grow their revenue twice as fast as those with lower levels. \nHeld regularly on the same day and at the same time\, Startup Huddle increases connectivity by convening the community to see each other while listening to and supporting local founders who give six-minute presentations outlining challenges faced by their company. Each presentation is followed by a 20-minute conversation offering constructive criticism focused on finding solutions and increasing founder know-how. \nWith new founders cycling through each gathering\, and previous presenters joining the audience to give back\, the community continues to expand while connections deepen. \nAbout Speakers\nOur first speaker is Karlen Madoyan\, the CEO and co-founder of doodooc. With his extensive background in sales and client relations\, Karlen excels at building strong partnerships and achieving revenue goals. He plays a crucial role in setting the strategic direction of the company and fostering relationships with investors and partners. Karlen has 10+ years of experience in media production and entertainment industry. doodooc’s founding team has powered dozens of visual\, holographic as well as 3D-mapping projects both locally and internationally. \nOur second speaker is Nairi Baghdasaryan.
