The large-scale integration of energy storage in Armenia is not yet accompanied by a systematic strategic approach. There is a lack of both clear regulatory frameworks, operational financial incentive mechanisms, and a long-term vision for sectoral development.

The RA Renewable Energy Association, the only official renewable energy association in the Republic of Armenia, is initiating the forum as an institutional platform for dialogue, where:

•  state structures will present their positions and vision
• major international brands will present their approaches to importing BESS into the Republic of Armenia
•  common understandings will be formed regarding regulation and investments in the sector

During the forum

•  panel discussions on the formation of BESS regulatory and investment activities
•  ceremonial signing of memorandums of understanding (MoU)
•  press conference
•  networking. networking of industry leaders

•  Heads of sectoral foundations and NGOs

This is the first public format for institutionalizing public-private partnerships in the renewable energy sector.
