National Science Week invites you to join the Science Festival at Freedom Square from October 1 to 6. For six days, the heart of Yerevan will host a celebration of science and technology, divided into three thematic parts:
October 1-2: Science is Everywhere.
Through experiments, interactions with scientists, exhibitions, and discussions, you will learn about the various scientific disciplines, from the study of the universe to molecular biology. Discover the problems each field tackles, the evolution of scientific thought from pure intellectual exercise to the construction of massive accelerators and space stations, the science conducted in Armenia, and how the world and science influence each other.
October 3-4: The Future Frontiers.
Career Orientation.
Why become a physicist or a chemist? What makes neurophysiology fascinating? What impressive phenomena do astronomers deal with? How can a mathematician gain skills in artificial intelligence? Why is a research foundation important for becoming a good specialist? Where to study – at which university or institute? The Career Orientation section of the Science Festival will be a platform where children and young people can get answers to these and other questions through interactions with scientists and those close to science.
October 5-6: Science Fiction. Imagine
Science fiction is one of the sources that inspire scientists to turn the imaginary into reality. The Science Festival on October 5-6 will be dedicated to science fiction, from literature to cinema, comics to painting. Freedom Square will transform into a fantastic planet where you will see your favorite heroes, hear amazing stories, and participate in various competitions.
Parallel to the three thematic parts of the Science Festival, masterclasses, discussions, lectures, and seminars will be held in our central booth all six days.
