
We are announcing the Open Data Armenia Contest 2026 annual competition for the third time. Its goal is to unite technical specialists, researchers, journalists, students, and all interested parties to implement useful projects based on #Opendata related to Armenia and the Diaspora.
Data: Includes not only official digital data but also existing data, images, databases, etc., regarding the history, culture, art, literature, economy, and other sectors of Armenia and the Diaspora.
The competition will interest:
Developers,
Researchers and data analysts,
Digital humanities specialists,
Data journalists and other professionals,
Students wishing to establish themselves in these fields.
Main goal: To stimulate productive joint/separate work and free exchange of experience between developers and researchers, thereby expanding the use of open data in useful projects within Armenia.
January 14 (Wednesday) – Launch of the competition and acceptance of participant applications
March 6 (Friday) – Deadline for accepting applications (updated)
March 9-10 – Project evaluation by the jury
March 13 (Friday) – Solemn awarding of winners within the framework of Open Data Day in Armenia*, which is part of the International Open Data Day initiative.
