To all students interested in Aerospace Engineering, we invite you to a three-week “Introduction to Aerospace Engineering” workshop from July 2-18 at the American University of Armenia.
During the workshop, you will participate in a lecture series to get a comprehensive overview of all critical domains within aerospace engineering, ranging from a brief history of flight and the evolution of aerospace engineering technologies and milestones to a high-level introduction to key aerospace domains and their interactions.
The six lectures offered by the experts in the field will be accordingly:
“Introduction, History, and Topics in Aerodynamics” by Oshin Peroomian, CTO at Metacomp Technologies Inc
“Flight Mechanics” by Iren Mkhoyan,
“Aerospace Structures and Materials”
“Aerospace Propulsion” by Oshin Peroomian,
“Orbital Mechanics followed by Systems and Control” by Avetik Grigoryan, President of “AYAS” Aerospace Society, the CEO of Bazoomq,
“Systems Engineering and Mission Design” by Masis Komrokian, an experienced consultant specializing in engineering management in general and aerospace in specific.
The workshop will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16:00-18:00 in the 314w, PAB room.
