HackShabti – Cyber guerilla internet sabotage with dark nets, leaks and markets
A straightforward, honest conversation about internet freedom from crypto-anarchism and cyber-guerilla ideas to the tools people use to stay independent online. We’ll break down what digital self-sovereignty really means and how these ideas are shaping the future of the internet.
In this session, we’ll explore:
the growing split between regulated, censored internet spaces and underground free-speech zones
how darknets, alternative markets, and information platforms are evolving
P2P networks as a way to bypass censorship and centralized control
the rise of the “sovereign individual” in a rapidly changing global landscape
parallel economies, agorism, and how crypto technologies shift power dynamics
This is not a typical tech talk expect bold ideas, open discussion, and perspectives you don’t usually hear in mainstream spaces.
One of the earliest Bitcoin developers (since 2010), the speaker has been working at the intersection of privacy, cryptography, and decentralization for over a decade.
He contributed to early privacy innovations like CoinJoin and stealth addresses, created libbitcoin, and co-founded DarkWallet – one of the first privacy-focused Bitcoin wallets.
Beyond tech, his background includes free software activism, hacklabs across Europe, and involvement in decentralized communities and initiatives. He is also the founder of AssangeDAO, which raised $55M in support of Julian Assange.
Today, he is building DarkFi – a layer-1 blockchain focused on anonymous applications, including private payments, messaging, and decentralized finance.
