At BioML EVN Meetup #3 we will host Artem Elmuratov, Co-Founder & Head of Business Development at Genotek, the leading Russian company in the field of Direct-to-consumer genetic tests and exome sequencing diagnostics.

Artem will briefly present his experience of starting and growing the company and specifically focus on:

1. Genetics of complex diseases: Polygenic risk score and COVID-19 genetics;
2. ClassifyCNV: a tool for clinical annotation of copy-number variants;
3. Genome assembly using quantum and quantum-inspired annealing.

He will also touch base on other areas in the field of molecular biology and bioinformatics among them de novo sequencing, metagenomics, transcriptomics, and others.

The presentation will be in English.
