Beyond Test Automation

September 17 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Beyond Test Automation

How multi-agent systems, RAG, AI quality gates, and Human-in-the-Loop governance can transform the full software testing lifecycle.

Beyond Test Automation: Engineering Quality with Agentic AI

AI is accelerating software development — but faster delivery does not automatically mean better quality.

What happens when QA itself becomes AI-enabled, not just through test generation, but across the entire software testing lifecycle?

On 17 September, ArmSTQB invites you to a practical session with Anna Petrosyan, QA Lead at ACBA Bank, ISTQB/ArmSTQB Board Member.

Anna will share how a multi-agent QA system can support the full STLC — from planning and analysis to test design, implementation, execution, completion, and continuous monitoring. The architecture presented in her work uses seven specialized agents, each responsible for a specific phase of the lifecycle.

We’ll go beyond the usual discussion of “AI generating test cases” and explore:

  • Agentic AI across the full STLC
  • RAG and grounded AI outputs — including when the system should deliberately refuse to invent an answer
  • AI quality gates that evaluate generated artifacts before they reach the tester
  • Human-in-the-Loop governance and why human approval remains a core part of the architecture
  • Security, traceability and accountability when AI operates inside a regulated environment
  • How the QA role shifts from test execution and script creation toward strategic quality engineering and AI supervision
  • The session is based on a real system built and used inside a bank, where every AI-generated artifact passes through quality controls and ultimately remains under human accountability.

If you work in QA, test automation, quality engineering, engineering leadership, or AI adoption, this session is about what comes after conventional automation — and what the next generation of QA may actually look like.
