Back to Back is Yandex’s large-scale backend conference from engineers for engineers, taking place simultaneously in Belgrade, Moscow, and Yerevan on August 1.

In Yerevan, the program will focus on the Architecture & Performance track. The program in each city will also be available online.

In Belgrade, the focus will be on the C++ Zero Cost track, covering performance, systems development, low-level optimization, and engineering challenges in C++.

Moscow will host two tracks: C++ Zero Cost and Architecture & Performance.

The Architecture & Performance track will cover architecture, reliability, infrastructure, performance, and real-world production challenges. The program in each city will also be available online.

Bruce Momjan, Vice President and Postgres Evangelist, will present “The Amazing World of WAL.”

Mons Anderson, Solution Architect at Exness, will discuss “From 2⁶⁴ and Beyond: Modern Approaches to Distributed ID Algorithms.”
Additionally, there will be live discussions with experts who build backends on a daily basis.

We will meet offline on August 1 in Yerevan. An online broadcast will also be available. It is important to remember that the event will be held in English.
