Open Source Sprint Pandas

Remember when we said something exciting is coming for Python lovers in Yerevan? Well, here it is.

PyData Yerevan is hosting an Open Source Sprint focused on contributing to pandas – one of the most widely used Python libraries for data analysis.

Whether you’re completely new to open source or have tried it before, this Sprint is your chance to:
Set up a development environment
Learn how real-world code contributions happen
Start making meaningful contributions to a major Python project

Facilitator: Suren Poghosyan
Suren is an active member of the PyData Yerevan community and a returning sprint mentor. He’s worked on AI tools at Picsart – including AI Avatar and AI Expand – and is passionate about automation, self-hosted systems, and open-source collaboration. He’ll guide you step-by-step throughout the sprint.
